PhaSeal™ is a system for the safe handling of hazardous drugs. As a clinically proven closed-system drug transfer device (CSTD), it has been proven to prevent hazardous drug exposure from preparation and administration to waste disposal.

- A protection for you and your staff when hazardous drugs are involved to avoid potential health risk with even limited or infrequent exposure

- Design with dry, leak-proof connections - preventing exposure when connecting and disconnecting from vials, syringes, IV bags and animal IV lines

- The system is based on 3 primary components: Protector, Injector and Connector. They come in a range of sizes to meet the specific requirements and preferences

- The sealed airtight chamber of the Protector captures aerosols and vapours while maintaining equal pressure in the vial during druf preparation

- The Injector ensures sealed drug transfer and "locks" into safe mode when the procedure is complete to prevent any risk of exposure.

BD PhaSeal™ is an easy to learn and easy to use system, which makes it easy to abide by safety guidelines and obligations to the staff.

- The drug vial access device permanently affixes to a drug vial. It functions as a pressure equalization device, utilising a sealed expansion chamber that establishes and maintains neutral pressure when air or diluent is injection into or aspirated from the vial.

- P14 Connector - 13mm Neck Diameter Vials - 20ml Pressure Equalisation

- P21 Connector - 20mm Neck Diameter Vials - 20ml Pressure Equalisation

- P50 Connector - 20mm Neck Diameter Vials - 50ml Pressure Equalisation

- The Injector attaches a syringe to the drug vial access device, or a syringe to the IV line access device on IV tubing - forming dry, leak-proof connections during drug preparation and administration.

- The Connector attaches to the patients IV line to provide a closed connection to the syringe safety device.

- The Administration Adaptor features built-in connector to connect an IV bag with a non-vented infusion set.

- The Infusion Set C50 is a standard IV infusion set with a built-in PhaSeal Connector for closed addition to IV bag.
