Encouraging a Healthier Workplace Culture for Vets
IMS Euro has been working with veterinary practices across the UK for nearly 20 years. In that time, we have seen significant changes in the pressures faced on a day-by-day basis. Mental health challenges are experienced by many members of the veterinary profession. Despite increased awareness of this fact, levels of serious psychological distress have increased over time.
We recognise, now more than ever, the need to focus on health and wellbeing in the workplace. It will lead to a healthier workplace culture, happier workers, increased engagement and productivity, and better sustainable commercial performance.
With this in mind, IMS Euro is excited to introduce our new partner, the Healthy Vets Academy, who run a programme of online and assisted courses to help you introduce good physical, mental and nutritional health in the workplace.
As employers, you have a critical role to play in ensuring that you create the right environment for employees to thrive, and to also recognise when an employee may need additional support.
Research by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) identified that 90% of Vets in the UK found the job stressful.
Healthy Vets Academy addresses metabolic health, as well as mental health; with comprehensive guidance from a UK authority on employee engagement.
Taking part in this programme will provide you with the knowledge and tools to create a happy and productive workforce and environment.
