Trusti & Flexi Tuber Calf Feeding Kits
An economical pack enabling an easy switch between fluid feeder and teat feeder. The Trusti Tuber was developed in New Zealand by vet Ursula Haywood who was finding her farm clients were reluctant to tube-feed calves, due to the associated stress and risk of tube misplacement. In trials the Trusti Tuber has been shown to almost halve the time it takes to tube calves and it reduced behavioural signs of stress by 88%.

The right start is critical for your calves, both short term and for longevity, and the right products help you achieve optimum outcomes.
The Trusti and Flexi Tubers can be used on cattle up to 200kg. This is good in cases where the animal is ill and needs hydration - supplements can also be added to the hydration mix. This is a great feature as there is nothing else on the market able to easily replenish cattle in the 80kg to 200kg size range.
These products can also be used in adult sheep and goats.
The Trusti Tuber was developed to solve farmer concerns around calf safety, calf comfort and usability with traditional oesophageal feeders. The Trusti Tuber not only prevents bruising and injury to your calf, it also makes the procedure easier for you.
It is highly recommended to have separate Trusti Tuber units for healthy and sick calves. One for colostrum feeding new-borns and one for feeding sick calves. This prevent thetransmission of pathogens if not cleaned sufficiently.
